Chris Voigt
Chris Voigt is a Lead Pastor at Dayspring Fellowship in Keizer, Oregon. He has served as the Pastor of Celebration Ministries at Dayspring for more than 17 years and been a lead worshipper for more than 30. He is the President and Chairman of the Board for Chris Voigt Worship, a growing non-profit ministry focused on building, equipping and encouraging lead worshippers and their teams in churches across the country and around the world. Chris also leads a multi-denominational team of worship ministry professionals that plan and produce the annual Worship Northwest conference in Keizer, OR.
Chris says, “As a worship leader for more than 30 years, I have seen my share of healthy and unhealthy ministries. Through it all God has developed a desire in me to help other worship leaders build healthy, fully-functioning ministries; to help all believers love God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength; to help churches become worshiping churches.”
Chris is an innovator and organizer, passionate and purposeful - a servant leader with a shepherd’s heart. His fervent desire is to equip and challenge believers toward a lifestyle of worship. Both engaging and energetic, he is equally effective in a workshop setting or as a keynote speaker. From seminars on ministry essentials for leaders and their teams, to vision-casting on what living a life of everyday worship really looks like for a Christ-follower, Chris will encourage your leadership, volunteers and congregation. In 2012 Chris wrote and published his first book, Everyday Worship. In 2016, Chris recorded his first worship CD, All I Need. Chris has served on the Boards of Friends of Hope, and Extra Mile Media and was Chairman of the Board for DELTA Ministries International. In his spare time, he does business consulting through his company Outsource Oregon. He plays keyboards and guitar (though he doesn’t claim guitar very often), and acknowledges an addiction to Diet Coke. Chris is husband to DeeDee and dad to some amazing young adults, Josh, Lexi and son-in-law, Matt. He was recently promoted to the status of “Pops” upon the birth of his first granddaughter, Avery.
